Song: Vanessa Carlton - White Houses

We were all in love and we all got hurt Vanessa Carlton, White Houses

That is high school. And every moment of these days we seem to be living. Because each of us keeps venturing on the cliff of this thing that is love. But are any of us brave enough to make that leap.

We feel too serious and we pull back some. That person is leaving for college now, and what do we do, we say see ya. We say were too young to care so much, too young to settle. We find what we need elsewhere because people are too young to change their lives for love. When in all actuality, youve got to change your life for something, or you will always make these mistakes.

High school, we all put our lips on love. Love was that soft thing that you thought you could make last forever, without ever realizing what it meant to go away for college, or follow your dreams (even the ones that didnt coincide with theirs). Love was this thing you needed, and when you found it you never let it out of your sight.

When does love grow up? I think I know, but I have no fucking clue. That is life and love. You think you know but there will always be someone you think knows it better then you.

But love. You cant just go jumping of cliffs. Its not safe, its not smart. So were searching for the person wholl hold the rope for us; that person who will patiently support our weight and lower us down that cliff. That leads to love. That is love.

Sometimes there's too much love, and sometimes theres much too little. And love hurts like hell. Hurts like hell as strong as when its the greatest in the world. And youre sleeping just to dream about them and youre crying because you cant help them, you hurt them, you cant solve a thing, and you cant make up your mind
